We're back from FIT Show 2025 and bursting to tell you all about it! Find out what we did and what we learnt.

They say no man is an island – and the same goes for glass fabricators. Here at ToughGlaze, we're proud to be part of a vibrant ecosystem of processors, glaziers and suppliers.

Don't get us wrong. We love to hone our craft and work with our clients here at our facilities in Bedford. But it's always a pleasure to get out and about and meet with customers and our industry peers.

So we were, of course, delighted to get involved in this year's
FIT Show at Birmingham's NEC.

FIT Show is a trade show for the window, door, flat glass, hardware and roofing industries. This year, it ran from Tuesday 29 Aprile to Thursday 1 Mag.

It is, in its own words, "the cornerstone for the fenestration industry, connecting the right people with the right products". It is, in the words of the song, "An invitation across the nation / A chance for folks to meet." A fenestration congregation. A place to be.

We were proud to take our place in the four halls of FIT Show at the NEC – one of hundreds of exhibitors sharing ideas, plying their wares and making connections.

And we were thrilled, too, to be sharing a stall with
Morley Glass. Morley is one of the UK's premier integral blind companies and its number one manufacturer of "ScreenLine" blinds.

ScreenLine blinds have the kind of ingenuity we're always chasing here at ToughGlaze. They combine the functionality and flair of traditional Venetian and pleated blinds with cutting-edge double- and triple-glazing technology. The result is an instant classic that combines the conventional and the contemporary.

What did we learn at FIT Show?

First of all, we were reminded that the fenestration industry is all about collaboration.

They say that no one knows how to make a pencil. In other words, a simple HB pencil in a stationery shop is the product of many separate yet interconnected processes.

The same is true of glass products. Many of the industry's most innovative products are only possible because of processors like us who can produce and supply high-quality glass. Meanwhile,
our product range can inspire manufacturers to make new innovations in glazing and glass-based products.

It was heartening, too, to see so much talent in one building at a time when our industry – like so many industries – is feeling the economic pinch. No matter the economic weather, people are designing, manufacturing and thinking outside the glass box.

So, to everyone who came along and spoke to us at FIT Show 2025 – we thank you. We're proud to be part of such a diverse and dynamic community, and we look forward to meeting you again in years to come.

In the meantime, here are some pics from the event. We scrub up pretty well, wouldn't you say?
